NORTH GEORGIA STATE FAIR
September 22- October 2






As the largest fair in metro Atlanta, the North Georgia State Fair attracts nearly 300,000 people every year from North Georgia and neighboring states. The fair features live music, free attractions and shows, farm animals, flower shows, blue ribbon competitions, local entertainment, and delicious fair foods. There are also games and rides on the Great James H. Drew Exposition midway– one of the largest carnival midways in the United States. ATLANTA GREEK FESTIVAL
September 29 - October 2





Enjoy food, fun and "Opa" at this year's Atlanta Greek Festival, at the Greek orthodox Cathedral, which brings all the aromas, sounds, tastes and traditions of Greece to your doorstep. Enjoy authentic Greek food and pastries (including a festival drive thru for those short on time), cooking demonstrations, music, dancing, singing, and special appearances by Constantine Tzortzis, recent contestant and runner-up on "The Bachelorette". ATLANTA BBQ FESTIVAL

Due to the overwhelming success of last year's event, the 2011 festival is being expanded into a 2-day format at Atlantic Station on Friday-Saturday, September 30th and October 1st offering more food, live entertainment and activities. This year, up to 15,000 attendees will enjoy a world of BBQ at their fingertips as they serve up the many styles, cooking techniques and flavors of BBQ into a 2-day celebration of America's biggest backyard pastime. Whether you enjoy Texas, Carolina, Memphis, St Louis or Kentucky style, the Atlanta BAR-B-Q Festival IS the Crossroads of BAR-B-Q. NORCROSS ART FESTIVAL
October 1-2








Join on the streets of historic downtown Norcross as we host the 2011 Norcross arts fest. There will be 180 national and regional artists with creative juices that are spilling over the top! crowds are expected to exceed 60,000 as visitors come from throughout the Atlanta area and beyond to experience one of the most exciting art shows in the southeast. In addition to the display of the most fun and colorful art we can find, the popular kidz zone is also expanding and will fill thrasher park to the brim! Off site parking and shuttle service is being increased to make sure everyone can easily arrive for all the activities.live entertainment in thrasher park will round out the festivities with addition literary performances in heritage park, directly across from city hall. SWEET AUBURN HERITAGE FESTIVAL

Join us in Downtown Atlanta and Aurbun Avenue for the sweet Auburn Fall Festivl.Founded by civil rights leader in 1984, the Annual Sweet Auburn Heritage Festival celebrates the history of Auburn Avenue historical district, home to Atlantas first emerging African American middle class community.This years festival features live entertainment on 3 stages, cultural arts,multi cultural foods, apparel, games, exhibits and special attractions and fun for the whole family! SUNDAY IN THE PARK

Historic Oakland Foundation is proud to present the 32nd annual Sunday In The park from 12pm-6pm. The victorian street festival began in 1979 and offers food catered from Six Feet Under, the Varsity, and Pollookaville, fun activities, storytelling, Irish dancing a scavenger hunt, and live entertainment for all ages.
